SANTIAGO DE CUBA
Santiago de Cuba, known as "la tierra caliente", has a moderate subtropical climate with two seasons, the dry season from November to April and the humid season from May to Octobrer.
The peak of the hurricane season runs between August and October. Santiago de Cuba has some of Cuba's hottest weather anytime of year because the southeastern end of the country enjoys much warmer temperatures and more sunshine than the rest of the country. Between July and October the level of temperatures and humidity can get quite uncomfortable.
